In order to obtain Carnia ‘Alta Qualità’ (High Quality) fresh milk, the strict standards established by the Italian Ministerial Decree no.185/91 are applied as regards farms, plants and processing.
Strict checks are made on the authenticity of the fodder and the state of health of the bovines, which are always of the highest quality, all bred within the regional borders in order to guarantee that the milk is packaged within 48 hours of it being collected from the cowsheds.
The milk intended for ‘Alta Qualità’ production is pasteurised with a quality-guaranteed process. In this way, it conserves greater nutritional and organoleptic characteristics.
